Equestrian Events
In the UK, horse riding is a very popular pastime. It can be a bit costly
but it is not exclusively for the wealthy, it is just a matter of setting you priorities. Learning to ride is a valuable life skill that everyone
should try to acquire.
British Equestrian Federation
In Britain the national governing body for horse sport is the British
Equestrian Federation (BEF). The federation has sixteen member
organisation that represent over four million carriage drivers and
riders:
- British Dressage
- dressage is a French word which translates to training

- an equestrian event which comprises show-jumping, dressage
and cross-country.
