Environmental Policy

We like to take a somewhat pragmatic approach to the impact our organisation may have on the environment:

All the electricity in our building is supplied by wind powered generation from E.ON and wherever possible we use low energy equipment such as, low energy bulbs, A graded appliances and flat panel screens rather than the old tubes. We also watch the amount of electricity we use with an Electrisave devise that display consumption, as it is being used.

We are assured that the carbon used by the gas supplied into the building is offset. However, it is important to keep consumption down by insulating.

We do not use paper communication methods or print emails, any paper we do use is recycled and recyclable and we do recycle.

However, we understand that the events we promote may or may not have a strict environmental policy of their own. We can only encourage everyone to think before you waste. As much as anything, it makes good business sense. When you are throwing away your waste, you are throwing away your profits.
