Craft Fairs
Thousands of Craft events are held throughout the UK every year. They are
held in all types of location from local village halls and schools to international
conference centers.
UK Craft Fairs
An excellent resource for craft events is a site called
UK Craft Fairs. It has been running for many years and has lots of events
listed plus interesting craft related stuff.
A craft fair gives skilled crafts people the opportunity to market and sell
their creations. Usually the items produced are as part of a trade or they
involve practical arts. Usually the items created have a practical function.
However, equally they are often purely decorative. Crafts people tend to
use natural materials like clay, glass, metal, textiles or wood.
To give you an idea of the sort of things you may find at a craft fair,
we have created a list below. If an event is listed as a craft and gift
fair you may also find mass produced items.

it is possible to create beautiful art and or designs. Often this can be
done after the glass has been blown.
