Becoming a County Calendar Affiliate
County Calendar offers a service so that even the smallest
of events can be promoted along side the largest. In order to be
able to offer this service, we need to generate a modest revenue
to cover costs. In the case of County Calendar that revenue comes
in the form of sponsorship and advertising.
Who can become an affiliate?
Anyone can become an affiliate as long as they meet the following
restrictions:
The person or organisation must be registered
in that county
There can only be one affiliate per county
The affiliate must be a platinum
sponsor of the county calendar site themselves
Why become a county affiliate?
We see two main reasons why people would want to become an affiliate.
The first is that the affiliate can help small event organisations
in the community, the local church, the school and the charity by
promote their future events. The second is that the affiliate
can earn a modest additional income from increasing the revenue
coming in from a particular county.
What could the affiliate earn?
Any earnings would depend on the effort the affiliate puts in. County
level advertising on the site currently costs 1p per pixel, the
affiliate would receive 50% of the first years revenue from any
new advertiser. Sponsorship is currently from £10 per year
to £10 per month, the affiliate would receive 20% of the first
years sponsorship revenue.
If the affiliate has not directly generated the revenue, they still
get the commission for their county!
Would the affiliate be working for County Calendar?
No,.the affiliate would be completely independent from County Calendar.
How to become an affiliate?
Use the contact us form to let us know
that you are interested in becoming an affiliate. Make sure you
let us know the county you wish to represent.
We will let you know if that county is still available and if you
fit the above criteria for becoming the affiliate for that county.
If you are not already a sponsor you would then need to sign up
as a Platinum Sponsor at a cost
of £10 per month. This will increase your user level within the
site.
